They brought their usual two phone releases this year, but also threw in another three for a total of five phones, including the Samsung Galaxy S10e. It is the first 7 nm SoC from Qualcomm. Early benchmarking shows it not only faster than last year's Kirin 980 but only a few points behind Apple's A12 Bionic, an SoC that normally crushes Qualcomm's 800 series in performance.
